The mission

Major banner headlines cover national politics; local stories from Cebu, Palawan, Panay, Davao, and beyond rarely break through. Pinas.cc collects links from reputable Philippine publishers, organizes them by topic and region, consolidates coverage of related events into story clusters, and directs readers to the original reporting.

How it works

• Every hour, a build pipeline ingests public RSS feeds from nine Philippine publishers.
• Stories are categorized by topic, tagged to regions by keyword heuristics, and deduplicated.
• When multiple newsrooms cover the same event, the coverage is clustered so you see every angle.
• The result is published as a fully static site — fast, low-cost, and privacy-friendly.

Editorial independence
